ServiSeek Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to ServiSeek.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ServiSeek website, mobile application, and related services (collectively referred to as the “Platform”).

The Platform is operated by:

ServiSeek provides an online technology platform that connects individuals or businesses seeking services (“Customers”) with independent service providers (“Service Providers”).

By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

2. Description of the Platform

ServiSeek operates a marketplace platform that allows Customers to post service requests and allows Service Providers to respond with offers.

ServiSeek acts solely as a technology platform facilitating connections between users.

ServiSeek:

  • does not employ Service Providers
  • does not provide the services listed on the Platform
  • is not a party to any agreement formed between a Customer and a Service Provider

Any contract for services is formed directly between the Customer and the Service Provider.

ServiSeek does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or performance of services offered through the Platform.

Users are responsible for evaluating and selecting appropriate service providers.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

By using ServiSeek you confirm that:

  • you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
  • all information you provide is accurate and truthful
  • you will comply with applicable laws and regulations

ServiSeek reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Platform you must create an account.

You agree to:

  • provide accurate and complete registration information
  • maintain the security of your account credentials
  • promptly update information if it becomes inaccurate

You are responsible for all activities carried out under your account.

If you suspect unauthorised use of your account you must notify ServiSeek immediately.

ServiSeek reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts where security concerns arise.

5. Service Provider Responsibilities

Service Providers using the Platform represent and warrant that:

  • they are legally permitted to provide the services listed
  • they possess the required qualifications, licences, and certifications where applicable
  • they maintain any legally required insurance
  • all information on their profile is accurate and not misleading

Service Providers are solely responsible for:

  • the quality of their work
  • the timing of services
  • compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • the conduct of their employees or subcontractors

ServiSeek does not verify every Service Provider and does not guarantee the accuracy of provider profiles.

Customers should conduct their own due diligence before engaging a Service Provider.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers using the Platform agree to:

  • provide accurate descriptions of service requests
  • communicate honestly with Service Providers
  • honour agreements made with Service Providers

Customers are responsible for evaluating the suitability of Service Providers before accepting any offer.

ServiSeek does not recommend or endorse specific providers.

7. Service Requests and Offers

Customers may post service requests describing the work required.

Service Providers may respond to requests with offers that may include:

  • proposed price or estimate
  • description of services
  • availability or scheduling details

Submission of an offer does not create a binding contract.

A contract between a Customer and Service Provider is formed only when an offer is accepted.

Once accepted, the Customer and Service Provider are responsible for fulfilling the agreed services.

8. Payments and Fees

Current Platform Version

At the time of the initial release of ServiSeek, payments for services are arranged directly between Customers and Service Providers.

ServiSeek does not process or hold payments in the initial version of the Platform.

Future Payment Features

ServiSeek may introduce integrated payment functionality in future versions of the Platform.

This may include payment processing through third-party providers such as Stripe.

Where payment processing is introduced:

  • payment services will be provided by authorised third-party payment providers
  • users may be required to accept additional payment service terms
  • ServiSeek will not store credit card information directly

Platform Fees

ServiSeek may introduce platform fees or commissions in the future.

Where fees apply they will be clearly communicated within the Platform.

9. Cancellations

Customers may cancel a service request at any time before accepting an offer.

If a Customer cancels after accepting an offer, any cancellation terms agreed with the Service Provider may apply.

Service Providers should provide reasonable notice if they must cancel a confirmed job.

Repeated cancellations or failure to honour commitments may result in account suspension.

10. Reviews and Ratings

Customers and Service Providers may submit reviews or ratings after services are completed.

Reviews must:

  • reflect genuine experiences
  • be factual and not misleading
  • not contain abusive or unlawful content

ServiSeek reserves the right to:

  • moderate reviews
  • remove reviews that violate platform rules
  • suspend accounts that abuse the review system

ServiSeek is not responsible for the accuracy of user reviews.

11. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

  • post false or misleading information
  • impersonate another person or business
  • submit fraudulent service requests or offers
  • harass or abuse other users
  • upload malicious software or harmful content
  • attempt to interfere with platform operation
  • scrape or extract platform data without permission
  • offer illegal services

ServiSeek may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

12. Platform Moderation

ServiSeek may monitor platform activity to maintain safety and integrity.

This may include:

  • reviewing reported content
  • investigating complaints
  • moderating messages or listings
  • suspending accounts involved in abuse or fraud

ServiSeek reserves the right to remove any content or user at its discretion where necessary to protect the Platform.

13. Disputes Between Users

Contracts for services are formed directly between Customers and Service Providers.

ServiSeek is not responsible for resolving disputes relating to:

  • service quality
  • payment disagreements
  • missed appointments
  • pricing disputes

Users should attempt to resolve disputes directly between themselves.

ServiSeek may assist with communication where appropriate but is not obligated to mediate disputes.

14. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property relating to the Platform, including software, branding, graphics, and design elements, is owned by ServiSeek Ltd or its licensors.

Users may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.

15. Platform Availability

ServiSeek aims to keep the Platform available at all times but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

The Platform may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • maintenance
  • updates
  • technical issues
  • external service interruptions

ServiSeek is not liable for losses resulting from temporary service interruptions.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ServiSeek and its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the Platform.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • loss of profits
  • property damage
  • personal injury
  • service quality issues
  • disputes between users

ServiSeek’s total liability for any claim relating to use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to ServiSeek in the preceding 12 months.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ServiSeek Ltd and its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses arising from:

  • your use of the Platform
  • services you provide or receive through the Platform
  • your breach of these Terms
  • violations of law or third party rights

18. Privacy

ServiSeek processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

19. Changes to the Platform

ServiSeek may modify or discontinue features of the Platform at any time.

We may also update these Terms periodically.

Where material changes occur we will notify users through the Platform or via email.

Continued use of the Platform indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

20. Termination

ServiSeek may suspend or terminate user accounts where:

  • these Terms are breached
  • fraudulent or abusive behaviour occurs
  • platform integrity is at risk

Users may delete their account at any time.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
